Blog Chicken Lips Warhammer Armies

That's a good idea too! I think I might do both! Whiten the teeth, and add a little Dwarf Flesh color to the brown mix for his gumline.

I finished my unit of Kroxigors! I get all excited when I look at them with the rest of my army! I hope you like them as much as I do!

Great great Kroxigors!!! I really like the purple highlight! I haven't ever seen models with these particular colors!
This is a good work on VERY GOOD models;);)
I think that these guys will be AMAZING in your skinks cohort!!!

I thought I'd just go ahead and show you guys an image of what I'm currently working on. Anyone even remotely familiar with 80's cartoons will probably know where I'm headed with this...;)

Fabulous unit of Kroxigors!!! Amazing models... amazing painting... amazing basing. Top marks across the board!

Thanks, guys!

Here are a few more smaller figures that I've been playing around with a bit while I was waiting for Green Stuff to dry.

Skink Priest #3 - This is the one that came with the Carnosaur/Trogolodon kit. I had to mount him on a "rock" since his feet are turned in so that he can ride on the back of a Trog.

And in a unit of Skink Skirmishers (with two other Skink Priests to show how they match up).

And something that I need you guys input on. I can't decide between these two paint schemes for my Wildwood Rangers. I want them to have a dark, coming-from-the-shadows look, but they need to stay clearly Wood Elf. I painted up these two color combinations and I like them both. I'm having trouble making up my mind which one I will go with for my 30-man unit. Let me know which is your favorite!

I respect everyone's decisions on here and would appreciate any advice you could give! Thanks in advance!

I would suggest to take both... In my opinion 30 is a high enough number of individuals to make them look more individual... ;) the schemes are still quite similar and they are WE so it's ok if they don't look like wearing uniforms... My opinion...

They both look really good but I like the one on the right better. That light green really makes it pop!

I really like your Skink unit... I think that the magic will flow powerful in this unit!!:)
I also prefer the one on the right...
I like the purple hood and the green cape...
Doctor

Hmmm...I've been gravitating toward the one on the right as well. The hood is actually a dark grey with a light blue/grey (The Fang) drybrush, but that is the second comment I've received about it being purple. It does kinda look that way. I might need to do something about that.

As you say the fang is a blue/grey that's why it looks purple try Eshin grey for the drybrush that should stop the blue tinge.

The hood never appeared purple to me until now you guys mention it. I could just be the photograph though.
