8th Ed. Cold One Armour Save

Would someone kindly tell me the armour save for cold one cavalry? Became really confused trying to figure it out

2+ armour save

5+ base from scaly skin, down to 4+ for mounted, down to 3+ for Thick-Skinned, down to 2+ for shield.
