Cold one cavalry are the next on my painting list, still going for the GW paint scheme, what colours have people used for the cold ones?

I know how I am going to paint the riders it's just the cold ones.

Hey there. I've been painting all my LM models to the tune of the GW paint scheme.

Painting is pretty easy with the new(now old) GW washes.

For the skin(not the belly) I primed the model black, then a coat of dark angels green, then a Badab Black wash.

For the belly i then painted vomit brown, and blended it up to Bleached Bone.

Harnesses, etc can be painted to your own specs, though i just used differing shades of brown with a Badab Black wash.

Yes they are, one of the DE players picked up a bunch extra and sold em to me(I really hate the current cold one range for LM so).

By GW scheme do you mean green cold ones?

I have some red ones in my painting log...

    That was a white undercoat.
Skin -> 50/50 blood red/mechrite red -> baal red wash -> leviathan purple wash
Scales -> blood red/mechrite red/scorched brown (around 30:30:30) with a touch of black for basecoat -> baal red wash -> badab black wash

    Done :)
