cold one colors

i'm painting orange/black lizardmen right now, but i don't know what color scheme i should use for the cold ones i don't want them to be green, cuz that doesn't match right to the orange.

and i also don't want them to also be black/other bright color cuz that's just too much black :S
does anyone have an idea?

I am by no means an expert, but according to a color wheel, the best color to use with the Orange would be the color opposite it on the color wheel. That would be blue. That way you get a high contrast.

Just an idea.

I went with Bleached Bone, Iyanden Darksun, and Gore Red, with Ice Blue eyes and highlights. I am happy with the results.
