Hi Guys,

I'm thinking about converting my old metal lizardman carnosaur to a troglodon.

Since I'm new to this I was wondering is; are there any rules on converting? I've heard that the weapons must match what's on the warscroll. But couldnt find much more. Is there any?

I was thinkingg about painting it in the Troglodon colours and adding some wiskers on the nostrils and putting a skink on its back. Will this be sufficient?

Im not really sure about creating a ridge on his back. Seems like a tough job with greenstuff.

Also I'm buying a bastiladon soon, are there any spare parta in there that can help me with this conversion?

Much thanks!

Someone here did a similar conversion... guess it was @n810?

... I wish, I don't even have one. :sorry:
.....(plastic trog)

ps. man the Meta sure has changed. :oldman:

Hmmm tough one.

So let's see... What makes a Troglodon a Troglodon.
- long face
- no eyes
- whiskers
- Skink Oracle riding it, no saddle in most cases
- double tail
- tongue or spit thing
- color
- EDIT forgot the fin. Add a fin on the back!

You won't be able to sculpt the long face I fear.. but the double tail should work.
Then maybe do something with the eyes and give it a looong tongue.
Then paint it accordingly and give it a Skink to ride it.

Should do.

Oooooohhhh I really did! Thanks for mentioning it.
...I think that could actually be one of the more easy parts to cinvert, with a lot of impact on how the model looks.
Edited my earlier post.

Might be easier to convert a toy spinosaurus, like this one from papo. (comes painted)
