Yeah i like this idea i have something very similar to it I've been working on. Chiefy and hunters start on board rest in my spaceship. The idea is to deploy Chiefy last as it will determine where you redeploy your entire army (Important to be mindful of 9"mark). Movement chief runs up hunters head for terrain to disappear end of move hunters to reserve draco drop astrolith 12" deeper then chief, drop seer 12" deeper then astrolith, defend your new deployment with 70 warriors. This is fun, but what's the actual play? Are you thinking this is first turn to get Warriors right in the opponents face (well, 9" away)? Or is this a later turn where you try to get all the way into their deployment zone? Most battles you are only 22" apart. Plus, the Terradon Chief doesn't need to be your general to be on the table at the start? It would be cool if you could fit in an Oldblood on foot.
its totally a turn one thing at a ten drop probably not going first either, the play is get the warriors behind the front lines and staring at the support crew turn 1, then turn 2 while they scramble to protect their loved ones the hunters show back up stealing real estate, any undefended objectives harass heroes . the chief's general to be on field for precious cmd points same reason for warlord battalion. Aim is to disrupt the ranks and capitalize on the confusion. you could almost even switch sides entirely with the enemy
