8th Ed. Custom artillery dice tryouts?

    Alright, good interest seems to be drummed up. The other custom dice came in 4 colors last time, I believe. Maybe more than that. I'll see if I can find pictures of them for sample colors.

    As for the artillery dice, I think the same color schemes would look quite good. I also see now that the prior order were 16mm dice, so even 18mm or 20mm would be sufficiently large to easily different these dice and should open up more color options.

    I wasn't sure if I wanted in or not until I went and read the opening post sketchs. Awesome. I'm sure whatever you guys end up picking will be awesome. With how detailed some of them are bigger is probably better.

    I would have thought a separate color for the artillery dice would be good, red or something. So you can pick it out easily, and so it's a bit special.

    Also it's always nice to have a couple of dice (three or six) that are a different color for the marking of spells etc.

    Slanputin pointed out that Salamander hunting packs were to be more expensive, so Bob has redesigned the misfire side

    Ok, talked to Chessex a bit more and I see we have a few color options. And yes, they should be able to get this level of detail no problem. The colors are....

    Opaque White (Lame)

    Let's narrow this down to 3 or 4 colors. I like Fire, Ninja, and Recon. Everyone who is interested in Custom Artillery Dice please post your 3 or 4 fav colors here so I can consolidate the list. Remember these will be 22mm (little bigger than a Skink base) and will only be for the Artillery dice. Custom 6's are in the works.

    I am already trying to come up with a custom number one symbol with chessex for their phantom blue (they can longer do GW IP symbols).

    Can we do some kind of Lizard on the number 6? I would rather be excited about a 6 than a 1. I also like Bob's idea of a snake eye for number 1, kind of like he did with the Sharpies.
