Couldnt you just take a lizard and impose rock texture over it, similar to what you did with the chameleon thingy on the last page?

If I could put in a humble request to Avatarzi, Old One of avatar creation (brother of Artzifartzi I assume), I think it's probably time to get me one of these here insanely cool artworks if you have the time or inclination. I'm up for anything really - the first thing that springs to mind is a number 4 lurking in the shadows. Or it could be like 4 of something, with the darkest one front and centre. (horselizards of the apocalypse? members of the Beatles? The fantastic four? (the Thing looks a bit like a lizard))
 
I think a four horsemen of the apocalypse (all Cold One Riders, maybe one Cold One, Terradon, Ripper, Carnosaur) would look awesome but it you'd lose details scrunching it down to avatar size.
 
Yea it would probably end up a blurry mess.
