Hey guys I have recently started painting my lizardmen army (new to both warhammer fantasy and lizardmen). Have gone with a river style lizardmen (like alligators) and i have come to the problem with doing my bases now. I'm not sure how to get that river bank look, any suggestions? I'm looking for tutorials on both land and water effect. Picture/link examples would be best.

This worked very well for me, looks great!

I added some foliage and some bushes to mine to get a bit more overgrown feel :)

If i had a camera i would have shown you my 2. They look great imo.

It's imple easy, and can be done in less than 30 mins per model, if you bunch models it'll go faster.

From my experience be careful when going with the more shallow waters, my first model looks great. but the second got a bit of a high contrast between the deep water and the shallow, with mo middle piece. ^^
