So, since GW does not sell these on their site, and you have to get it from forge world. Does that technically make it a proxy? Is it GW legal to field any "LARGE" dinosaur as a dread saurian? Like paint up a really nice $9 T-REX from TRU and bring it to a tournament?
Forgeworld models are legal in official tournaments because Forgeworld is owned by GW. Others are not.
Somehow the pose you chose using the tree makes it look less like a rat. Still don't like the sculpt that much but you made it look pretty cool.
Since everyone around me uses base to base measuring, I'd need a base to fit this guy where he doesn't hang off the front by 5 inches (so that you can get up against them for the ol biteroo). Is there a base big enough to do that with that GW sells?
I don't have a dread saurian yet (and thus I do not yet know the dimensions), but yes that's right! I totally forgot about that. I'm glad you exist!
I’ve got mine primed and ready to start painting it’s just such an overwhelming model. Haven’t started yet lol
Thanks for the pics. Sounds like the base would need to be around 12" x 7" (keeping other GW dimensions of about .6 ratio) or 305mm x 185mm. Lord Marcus, do you 3d print? If you were make a base that big, what do you think the cost would run?
