That is a formidable tyrannid force, I especially like the dude with the tentacles! And the brood prince himself of course
I've been lazy on the updates again. Tsk tsk! So here's whats up.. Still working on my Primaris army. Got my hands on some more Intercessor from auctions, they are still selling like butter.. But I do want to buy a box one day due to some bits it has. I did end up buying a box of Centurion Warsuits, I tried to make them fit my Primaris army a bit more by making them a bit taller so they "tower" over Primaris. Their regular size was too short imo and they looked like giant dwarfs.. But they turned out great, I dont have any new picture of them done yet but will take some later on. Lastly, I got my hands on a squad of Hellblasters and a box of "Easy to Build" Redemptor dreadnought. I was unsure about my feelings towards the dreadnought but now after building it.. I love it. I might end up getting a regular one for more pose/bits options. But my next stop is to get more HQ characters.
And there we go, my Primaris army thus far. 4 Intercessor squards 7 Lieutenants 1 Centurion squad 1 Hellblaster squad 1 Redemptor Dreadnoughts 1 Ancients 1 Captain
New project! Imperial Knights, been wanting to buy this box for a while now.. finally did it and now I'm having a blast building them. Painting them will take its time hah. Nothing I want to speedpaint, but I tried Spray Paint for the first time with them by coating them with leadbelcher so they all look metallic now which makes things so much easier. No way in hell would I coat them by hand.
And here are my Imperial Knights! I've put some decals on them but other than that they are more or less done! Loved making them! And here are my current project, Kingsguard from my Knight World. Waiting for some Skitarii bits to arrive, while the Knight house have their Knights the foot soldiers and the tech level on the world is gonna be very steampunk so gonna use the longrifles from the Admech and convert the Stormcaste Ballista into a heavy weapons team. Lastly I was given this from a friend who got it from a friend of his.. It's currently in a bucket of soap and I hope the paint will come off, so I can repaint it but by the looks of it the paint is very thick so will see how it goes. If you use Google Chrome, you can check out my current fluff for my Primaris Army here: The Urusion Knights Been fleshing out the backstory, characters and the worlds they watch over. With Kill Team out, I plan on getting that in the future so I have brainstormed alot about my Chapter by naming characters etc so I can jump in and do some quick fights with my brother or friends.
Here are my Kingsguard, the regiment from my Knight World. The models on the picture are work in progress, some shading and details missing otherwise done. I have ordered some more bodies so will get some more foot soldiers, a sniper and a commander. But I'm very pleased with their look, the Skitarii rifles worked out great! Very classy look and the Stormcast balista turned out amazingly imo. Four "barreled" heavy bolter team. Considering making a cavalry on horses for this regiment as well however Im unsure how as of right now. But the thought of horse men charging next to an Imperial Knight is too epic to ignore. And here's some Skitarii rangers I made from left overs. They were fun to build I must say, they will sit well next to my Dominus. Lastly, my little brother visited the other day and I had just ordered the rule book for Kill Team. So we decided to try it out, admittedly we butchered the rules but at the end of the day we had fun playing it or atleast the version we did. My mindset was still stuck with D&D rules so trying to convert to KT stat rules was hard and still is. I find D&D alot more straight forward. So this will be a learning curve, atleast I can see me and my brother play this more in the future.
Wonderful work; those AOS bolt throwers fit in really well. I also like how in the midst of all your beautifull terrain setup, you are using a ladder for a bookmark
My Kingsguard thus far! My plans for a Cavalry will come once my Primaris army is ready, with the HQ so expensive on their own it's taking longer to finish. But also with the release of Tooth and Claw the online auction is flooded with Primaris models haha. However here is my converted Chaplain in gravis armor. Dreco Vatus, High Chaplain of the Urusion Knights. It was very fun to convert! And my latest addition to my Primaris army, Reivers. Finished off my guys with bolt carbines, they were alot of fun to build and paint.
With my birthday right around the corner, I, with the help of my dad extended my dinner table. I always wanted a larger table for my tabletop games so here it is in its full glory. It will hold many games and many feasts!
I've been giving my Primaris a small makeover by giving them an extra thin coat of white to lighten them up a bit. Got a couple of more models left to do. Other than that It's been pretty cold recently so I haven't been able to spray-paint anything outdoors.. But the sun decided to peak out the other day so took a risk and spray-painted some models that has been sitting around.
Primed some more Primars models today but ended up running out of spray paint so didnt manage to prime them all but here are some. I'm starting to pile up models fast.. Need to step up my painting jobs!
Finished my "Veteran/Champion" squad (first four), and a Sergeant (fifth). Really wish Primars had proper melee options in the actual tabletop. And my second Redemptor dreadnought finished. Some basing details left on that picture. Brother Gormar the First! And a hellblaster for scale. My kitbashed Librarian. Chief Librarian Carian Cain! And my second Chaplain, Amethyst Vache! Who is meant to wield two Absolver Bolt Pistols but I'm waiting for that pistol bit to pop up one day so I dont have to buy a whole new model for that one bit.. But so far they are all sold out. And here is some early progress on my Chapter Master. Ordin Mardun, Master of the Chapter. Waiting on some third party shoulder pads I ordered to arrive before I continue working on him.
Great work! That hero on the left doesn't look quite as imposing without a weapon in his hand... he looks like he is about to give someone a hug
