Your "quick and dirty" looks really damn good! These guys look awesome, bright colours that just stand out so well. The blending is awesome and really spectacular on that cold one.

Lots of fantastic stuff here!

I like the color scheme on your skink priest; and really like how you painted the silver tower models, especially the pink horror.

I also like how you did the feathers/shields for your cold one riders, especially the gold headpiece on the chief's cold-one. An those bases are fantastic- like they are moving through a light sheen of swampwater. The submerged bone-jaw is a fanastic little detail too!

Are you going to add more moss to the chameleons or are they going into battle with only moss hats?

I'm planning on building up a bit on the base, probably wont do any more on the skinks themselves though. I like it looking like they just grabbed a quick hat to blend in a bit more.

I like the moss hats! but yeah, looking at your first models upto your newest the improvement is amazing. Although saying that, your first models were really good for first timers anyway. excellent all round.

More WIP shots of my Bastiladon. He's coming along pretty well, thinking about changing up my plans and putting him in to the 1000 pt list for my league this month. I need to get some new matte varnish i think, this stuff is all coming out shiny!

Finished up the Bastiladon last night. I still need to finish the teeth/claws on the skinks, but i borrowed my skull white to a friend and havent gotten it back yet.

Looks so good! The orange spots on the purple shell look so epic! Those red and green skinks too! Brilliant.

Yeah I probably should. I have auric armor gold, on my units i tend to like the gold a bit dirtier but on my engine of the gods for example I think its better to have a shinier gold. I think i forgot to do my normal silver highlight on the gold as well, may have to make a final pass on it all.

I ran out of spears since i'm magnetizing it to work with the Arc and Solar beam. Had to steal a spare arrow from the Stegadon box!

Based my Bastiladon today while waiting on the primer for my Carno. Really happy with how this base turned out. Need to clean up the sides, not sure if I want to do black or the stone color. Probably black just to keep it similar to my other units.

I bought the base from Secret Weapon miniatures, same place i got the bases for my knights. I think I have a couple pics of it in progress, I sent a few trying to a friend trying to figure out how to fit the Basti on there.

That's what i was going for, i'm glad its recognizable!

Here is the base just base coated, trying to mock up where things will go.

And here is after dry brushing it, before I added the Terradon head and the flocking. This was actually a base for an Urban city, so the flocking was added to give it a jungle feel as well as cover up the manhole on the bottom.

Here is a shot of just the Terradon head after I finished it as well. Its been waiting for a couple weeks for the base to show up, that amazon seller was SLOOOOOOOW.
