7th Ed. Drop Rocks Question

Hey all,
The question is about dropping rocks on a warmachine unit such as a cannon. Do you still have to randomize whether or not it hits the cannon or crew?

Yes, because the hits are distributed like shooting. Just remember it's Strength 4, so it can wound most war machines on a 6+.
