That is what happens when you are one of the first to get a new book in a new edition. Really good at release but GW needs to learn to control the power creep.
 
I'm really not sure how to paint the weapons. I heard they were made out of a fallen star (meteor), so I'd do them black with bronze/gold on them, but not sure if that would be fitting
 
If you haven't download the AoS app from GW it's free and will show you a few of their paint jobs. Might help you out.
 
oh what I mean is like spear tips btw. the clubs will be bronze I think
 
Hm.. probs would in the end like having a combo of Bloodclaw and Firelance Starhost, but would really have to check into how much pts the Bloodclaw one is
 
I figured that is what you meant. In their paint scheme it's Abbadon Black with edge highlights of Sotek Green.
 
Oh, well that is good then. Was pretty close lol. Wait, there is a paint guide?
 
No paint guide. Just trial and error to match what I saw.
 
Oh, after rereading it I have no idea how I managed to misunderstand the comment that much xP
 
The big question is, can I BS myself through the Old Blood with the shiny glove being able to be used on foot in my club lol
 
You should be able too as long as you use the Oldblood on foot rules. Just say that He is an Oldblood either way. Whether he is on or off his majestic mount. Plus he is a way cooler model.
 
Well he will be used as oldblood either way, getting to sunbolt gauntlet though.. :p
 
Now that is your stretch. Tbh though, ignoring -1 rend is really good with a "Shield" instead of getting d6 shooting attacks :P
 
I'll just glue a shield on his.... somewhere at least. I do that with my Empire State Troops. Halberds in both hands and shields on back :P
 
That would actually be a fun future update to the Seraphon battletome. As your artefact let an Oldblood on foot take the Gauntlet.
 
I mean, it would make sense that those that have it on carno have it on foot too. You can't be on that dino ALL the time!
 
Did more work on the Carnosaur. Think I'll do the vine leash and the shield drybrush, but then I will call him done for tabletop standard.

Also started on my Troglodon from the SC box I got. Like the colour choice so far, but my big issue will be the skinks, since originally I wanted them to be pink but now the Troglodon is pink

Also, I bought a 2nd Start Collecting box so I can have the Scar Veteran I had from last year, the Troglodon from the first box, and now the Old Blood from the 2nd, but a sprue was missing of the big dino, so I messaged GW and the first reply I got was "Sorry that happened, pls send us your address! :3 XOXO love ya ;3 ", which was very nice and flirtatious of them! :3
