Editing a topic's name

Hi guys. I was wondering if there was a way for me to edit the name of a post I started? For example, is it possible to change the thread's title from "my paint blog" to "my paint blog NEW STEGADON PICS"?

I believe you just need to go into the editiing menu on the original post and change the Subject to reflect the new information.

I did it on this post.

If that does not work, I can change the topics title as well.

Yeah, I found that and got the same result you did. I was just curious if there was a way (short of getting an admin) of changing it on the index page?

In order for me to change the index value, I have to use the moderator's menu. I don't think you have the option in the standard editiing mode.

Just change the title of the first post, I have done mine tons of times.

It won't change the tiles of "Re: whatever" that have already been made though so a record of the original title remains.
