8th Ed. End Times is now official. Updated rules. LM am cry Q.Q

I didnt like the current book and this is the end of warhammer for me. Ill keep a few models and get rid of the rest. having said that. I belive LM benefited grealtly from the errata. But un like most I woukd just have the slan in my lord allowence and feild 10-12 individual scarvers on cold ones. Id like to see some one try to stop that.

To be honest, I'm disappointed. I've never cared for herohammer and just when I was happy that it was dead and gone... Boom! It's back again. The game loses some of the strategy aspect and turns into, "Look how powerful my lords are! I'm the best general ever!". I know this is an exaggeration, but you get the idea. We are going to see more hero trains, more 5 man hero fronts, etc... I really hope this is a short lived idea and they switch it back. Curse you Games Workshop...

I still think with the way 8thE is atm, it's not full on hero hammer. More often than not a single Hero won't be able to carve their way through hordes of troops, it's definitely still a tactical game.

Although Chaos hardly needed the boost from more Lords/Heroes allowance.

"Those who can't: play Chaos." (lol he says with some Nurgle Lords and rotflies sitting on his workstation).

Once again, I have to point out that Herohammer is impossible under the current rules. Even a super special awesome Chaos Lord worth a 1000 points will get stuck against a 20 man skink cohort a tenth of his pricetag, who still gets to test on full leadership (hopefully within a Saurus/Slann characters inspiring presence) because of steadfast.

Steadfast alone makes herohammer impossible to bring back in full force.

Hey guys, I was having a read 'on the throne' tonight, just flipping through bits of fluff and our rare section. After setting the book down, the spine kinda forced itself to flip to the Summary page.

I never look at these pages in codices/armybooks, for better or worse. I remember numbers pretty well, so, yeah... I just never bother with the Summary page.

Anyway, has anyone read the fluffbox? Who the hell is Lord Huaxhini? I never saw him mentioned before.

Also, putting 2 and 2 together... I think we may have a big player for our role in the End Times. If you haven't read it, give it a read!

I may be wrong - maybe he's from a past edition and I've just not heard of him. But, yeah, reading through the fluff in our book, I don't remember seeing him...

Plus, he's in an Eternity Chamber? Which one? When did that happen? Why wasn't I invited? Nobody told ME!

Man, this is exciting! Can someome enlighten me a bit (if he is, indeed, an older character)?

That was a nice little blurb. Now you've got me hoping there is more in the Lizardmen future than ignominity. :)
