Heya!

Does EotG shoot the weapon while they are in combat themself? Does it shoot it magicphase ?

Thankeful for any ansers

Yes to both questions. It mentions in the rules for EOTG that it can fire into/from CC. And it goes off in the magic phase.

But just for compleetnes, it dosen't really shoot it inflict hits that fall under the "unusuall attacls" category which is explained in the rulebook and are allocated like shooting attacks.
