I really like the rider. It looks very clean and smooth! I actually didn't really think about the skinks' being undone - the led contraption kind of steals the attention haha
Awesome! This christmas I´ll be getting molds so this kind of kits that provide you with everything you need to build two models except one piece won´t annoy me anymore! YAY
well the mold came out and...its a success? since i made it to duplicate the back and tail yes it is... i did not have even pressure in the mold do the other side of the face came out wrong but the tail and back is good so im happy
This looks good... Seems like it works and we're going to see a lot of new conversions with self-made parts here. That's good! Now go and convert something cool out of it!
If your plan is what I think it is... I say push it to the maximum and add something, so that there is steam coming out of it's mouth when you push the button!
Badass monster you got there...
Thanks all took some time to finalize what I wanted to do I kept debating whether or not I should get ripped apart and go from more of a simple thing but I really want to make this model my own. This was the first model my wife actually gave me as a gift. Well she got me the age of sigmar starter set before but this time she research into what look like dinosaurs for the lizard man and was like "oh this mammoth looks cool and it's a dainasor" that's why im stuggling so much to make it...so many debates in my head as to what should work and what would not make seance. ...
On a side note here is my second attempt at a two part mold..I really hate!!! Working with metal models/parts so I found this part I thind don't know what its from but it's metal so I have to change that...it was almost perfect just did not use enough gs/mp so it missed that last bit of detail at the back...other than than it was fantastic
Wow... I can't believe you were able to capture so much detail. That is awesome. Every time I try to make a mold of anything it fails miserably, even things significantly more simplistic than the piece you duplicated. Kudos!
Gracias @NIGHTBRINGER I was intimidated when I first tried to do it to. That is why I started with small one sided molds first. So I could gain confidence in my molding skills that way I wouldn't end up wasting too much green stuff at once. Also when I do a mold I use a mix of 50/50 green stuff slash mill put. Then I first push the putty into the mold to try to catch all the details and then I just add more putty so I can fill in the void. After that I just put a 20 pound weight on top of the box I made for it and wait a day for it to cure
