Blog Enthusiastic Hobbyists Blog (idea for my tempel gaurds WIP)

I showed first interest end of August 2015... Received them in Oct/Nov 2016... And really need to find some time and peace to finish them ...

I know that woogity was searching for a new caster or printer for the models... Guess it will be much quicker since he found one...

That is a mighty impressive haul!

Interesting scenery- like a crystal dungeon graveyard... should work well with those lycans!

I also went to the previous page and noticed that one of the werewolves HAD A SKELETON TIED TO ITS BACK! :jawdrop: savage!

Also looking forward to see what you do with those kroxigors! :artist:

Hello friends wow its been a bit since i said i would give a more detailed explanation on what im doing with the model..(life you know) well he we go

Well first i broke down and realized i have to use an elevated base to house the battery (its far easier that making a big howdah)

in that you can see i have used GS to make a make shift plug to hold the wire in place. I am using this type of connector so i remove the big guy and place him back on for transport. I will be adding some metal and magnets for stabilization but that's later ^_^....

here we have the left front leg of the model i have again used GS to make a "plug" so that the connector will not move no matter how many times i place and remove the model from the base....

here we have the main body i have used quite a bit of GS to make a Slot for the push button switch and some extra to hold the metal in place...

This is the top part of the model as you can see metal and magnets so i can remove it for ease of access/transport. A hole is in place to allow the wiring to pass through. I will be cementing the howdah in place once its all painted up...

and finally this is a better view at the connector i have used to i can disconnect the top peace from the model with out having to worry about the wires ^_^. i used GS to hold the wires in place as when i was soldering i did not make each the same length and since i did not want to redo it this was a simple decision. Still have a lot a work ahead of me but this have be lots of fun, I cant tell you how many times i have changed and redid this build plan as i was working on it. As such i think im set on how to move forward *_*...I hope this helps any of you to try and push you self or if you have a similar idea (rambling now sorry ) anyway i am still a total amateur at this each day is a chance to learn something new lol (just don't learn by slashing you hands with the X-acto i think we all know how deep those cuts can be T_T) lots more to come but the baby is crying and its has gotten late see you next time.

p.s
Sorry if i dont use proper grammar i am not the best eloquent:bag:

C/C welcomed and encouraged :hungover:
