Expanding the army!

I’ve spent the last five months painting my current forces. A friend and I had a date set for our first battle so it was all about getting everything done for that date. To be honest, it was a little stressful towards the end!

Now though, I have a load more models to enjoy and take my time on. Starting with this bastiladon today. Really enjoying this sunset effect, I reckon he looks like he’s harnessing the power of the sun!

Going to keep a bit of a thread going to show WIPs and updates open to any and all critique and advice.

Thanks so much! I really wanted him to look like he’s fully absorbing energy from the sun. Going to make a cracked earth base with some scorched grass I think!

Made a start on Lord Kroak today. I think he’s going to take a good few days to finish but I’m keen to spend time on him. Here’s today’s progress.

The final model to add was a Skink Priest. I’m really pleased with how it turned out

I’ve still got my Realmshaper Engine to paint, but then my list is complete! Time to enjoy having fully painted lists on the table. There’ll come a time when I start over with finer detail I think. Going back and tidying up my initial work etc
