Back to Bretonnia! I have finished the standard bearer for my Knights of the Realm.




Once he's varnished and has tufts on his base I'll take some pictures of the full unit.

Thank you! The yellow takes longer than the other colours but I like how it looks in the end.
I have another model in mind for the Feathered Serpent, but if I cannot finish that in time then I will submit this guy.

A hobby/comic shop chain in the UK are running a painting competition for February.
You get sent a random Blood Bowl miniature, 4 random paints and some static grass. You then have to paint the miniature using only those 4 paints plus black and white. You have to use the grass on the base too.

I got sent a little gobbo and an interesting mix of colours. Time to get my thinking cap on and test some paint mixes.

 

My little Bloodbowl gobbo for the competition is done! It was interesting and quite fun working with a very limited colour palette. I took the opportunity to do a little NMM too.
