I try to make every base a little different and interesting.

The finished bases for my Salamander Hunting Pack. I'll probably have pictures of the fully finished unit tomorrow.



I tried to show some burnt wood and glowing ember effects as though the Salamander had previously been shooting fire around the swamp.

I tried to make the flame sacs look like they are glowing from the inside.

I love the sculpts and you did them justice

The basing is spot on and I very much like the Blue accents on the handlers.

Originally I wasn't sure whether to do the little freehand scales on their backs but in the end I thought they needed that extra colour to really pop and it ties these older sculpts in with the colours on my newer skinks nicely.

Te contrast in tone is great. Love the warm salamders and the cool handlers.
