With Grievous done my core set for Star Wars Legion is now finished.

Next I'll be painting up another 10 skinks

Those Star Wars Legion minis are excellent! Love the General Grievous, and how your new green battle droid is going.

Beautiful skinks! Love the purple skirmishers as well!

Thank you!
The SWL minis are great. Faithful recreations without going overboard on unnecessary details.

Got to love purple!

Wow they look gorgious!!!
The battle wearing is marvelous and the yellow and red accents show a nice distinction of the squads.

Grrr, Imrahil

Thank you! I'm really pleased with how the damage looks on these droids.
Originally I wanted to avoid unit markings for my Star Wars models to preserve the overall look. However the practicality of being able to tell them apart eventually won out haha.

I love that color scheme! That green is beautiful

Thank you! It's the Ork Flesh contrast paint thinned 2:1 with contrast medium, over a midtone silver. I also underpainted the shadows with Nuln Oil and did rough highlights with Stormhost Silver before the contrast paint went on. Then did edge highlights with silver afterwards.

Roger roger! These look great. Do you create your own basing stuff? Or buy it from somewhere?

Thank you :)

The ground texture is Vallejo's Brown Thick Mud product, washed with Agrax Earthshade then dry brushed in various browns and greens. The tufts are Gamers Grass Alien Turquoise tufts. For the plants I use GWs Barbed Bracken, trimmings from generic aquarium plants and some small seed pods all painted up. There's also various bits of lichen and clump foliage from Serious-Play.
The water is Realistic Water from Woodland Scenics.

Since getting back into the hobby I've slowly accumulated a lot of basing products haha.

Finished off my 3rd unit of B1s today.

I have another 2 units of these that are nearly done. They just need basing and varnishing. Unfortunately my hobby time for the next few days is going to be severely limited so it might be a little while until they are done.
Those look good! I can hear the roger roger from here. :)

That's the way to do it. The more variety you have at your disposal the better.
