Contest February - April 2016 Visual Art Contest - WIP Thread

Well...work now allowing I atleast got SOMETHING done for this contest (Thank you for yet another nudge @spawning of Bob ) It's ugly as hell with the material I applied and the default smoothing, but it will look better I promise!

The plan Is hopefully to make it looks like a little gold statuette of the Exodus ship, maybe on a little planetarium type thing depicting the trip to Azyr....Buuuut in the few short evening I have left I doubt that highly XD

This is gorgeous! If I were going @Warden route of seafaring I would totally steal this design for my Seraphon/Lizardman ships!

Thank you! But the design isn't really my own, it's the "official" exodus ship that was pictured once in the AoS book (Hmmm..that's not a problem is it?)

You just inadvertently called a GW design gorgeous. You've completely erased any masquerade of cynicism you might have had towards GW. I think that marks you as ineligible for this, and all other forums. Goodbye Bowser, I'll greatly miss your likability.
 
But it wasn't that he was likeable. It was that he liked us so volubly. Maybe he can be rehabilitated?

I think @Phoedinn 's masterpiece should be cast in pure gold, named "The Golden Snark" and then used as a kind of perpetual trophy for the best harsh comment towards GW made by a forum member, as judged by his peers.

Oh don't tempt me XD I would actually go and make that (well on a computer anyway, i'm firmly planted in the digital world)! I need all the time I can get to finish this in the space of two days...
 
I demand that you reprioritise and make the Golden Snark trophy instead. I would vote for it, and we can use the image to grace all of the Snarkiest threads!

My brain hurts. It is still yesterday in American Samoa. I'm calling close on entries / tweaks / resubmissions in a little under 27 hours (midnight April 14, GMT - 11)

The easiest thing to do if you are feeling any pressure is to set your sundial to Samoan Time. It is so much more relaxed in the Pacific Islands.

I might be able to get the voting thread up about three hours later.

12 entries, 2 promises, no prizes.
