Hmm... Feedback Scroll takes up all the points a skink priest can take by itself. It's gotta be a Slann for both the scroll and Bane head.
Wouldnt both of those not leave enough to take the cupped hands? Unless you're going life and can keep throne of vines up it might be a little risky. At least that's the way I see it
I played teclis today, Killed him in turn one!!! I used the Blood statuette of spite and bane head on a skink priest. Took him down even with a magic resist save. Try it out, works a beast
Unfortunately for us, that's not a legal combination. Blood Statuette and Bane Head are both Enchanted Items, and a character can have only one of each type.
This to would be ilegal for the double arcane items (even if it didnt cost too much). Cupped hands cant be combined with any of the nice arcane items in the armybook.
New update, played him again, My chamo skinks and Oxyotl paid dividence. Oxyotl hit hard and had him dead in turn two. Managed to keep the chamo skinks alive long enough to take a good few off the unit before I got charged.
He always has had to meet the casting requirement. It says any successful casting roll that includes a double counts as irresitible force. Didn't really need to be FaQ'd. I used him alot as a high elf player.
Simple two-stage anti-Teclis plan with lore of life: -step 1: irresistible ToV. -step 2: irresistible Dwellers. Repeat step 2 until Teclis is dead. There is exactly 50% likelihood of killing him each time. This WILL probably suck up all your dice. If he has the world dragon banner, then either: -A: hit him with a horde of Saurus if he is in an elite unit. -B: hit him with a steg if he's not. Shoot him up either way.
surviving and getting to him is a different story all together Though I did have success with a skink chief on a terradon, he distacted him long enough for some kroxigor to run up his ass
Just watch out for the PG bunker he usually is in, there not the easiest of warriors to kill. plus if there anything like me they will also go life and have the regrowth on the unit
My opponent hits shadow up, It turns spearmen into the most terrifying unit I can think of. The attacks that come in are 3's with re-rolls and +1 rank for spears +1 rank for martial prowess (this can even be +2 sometimes if the unit is big enough) with Okkams mind razor at S8 Ive had 20 TG killed in his 1st attacks, Stegadons wiped out and other such carnage. So usually, hes in with archers or spears. Its a terrible thing sometimes...
Ah I see, I personally prefer the -D3 T spell that shadows has, made Dwarves a grand T1, he wasn't happy xD Spearmen can be nasty if used right, but if you get to hit back you should be able to do the damage on them
They are certainly powerful this edition, but not overpowered. They cost a load per model and as stated, die rather easily. In 'standard' battles they are very strong, but in anything goes tournaments.. Well, I've never been able to come up with anything that could stand up to a cheesed Skaven, Daemon or WOC list. The elves simply do not have as much overpowered stuff to pump the army up with even if across the board they are good.
How to kill teclis: Shadow lore, use withering on his unit or teclis himself. Have your skink priest w. blood statuette of spite ready, and look at your enemys face.
Unfortunately, that doesnt work if he has banner of the world dragon. The unit becomes immune to all magic, so that wouldnt work sadly :/
If he has the world dragon banner he can't buff that unit either so just do your best to get into close combat with it and you should make short work of him. The trick is catching him as he'll abandon the unit if you get too close. I think some chamo skinks and/or terradons lurking behind his lines might help keep him from jumping ship when you don't want him to.
