AoS Finalizing 2k List

Hey everyone,

I'm trying to finalize my lists for play in 2k point tournaments. I currently own:

-Engine of the Gods
-Skink Starpriest
-One box of Skinks with Boltspitters and Star bucklers
-One unopened/unbuilt Start Collecting! box

With all this in mind, I have been trying to create a list that uses the majority of these units. This is what I came to after some research:

-Engine of the Gods (220) - General - Command Trait : Great Rememberer - Artefact : Blade of Realities
-Skink Starpriest (80) - Artefact : Incandescent Rectrices
-Slann Starmaster (260) - Artefact : Prism of Amyntok

Seems good besides 1 point : the 80p on handlers + razo is pretty much a waste of points unfortunately. You should invest at least 3 razo in order for the handlers to be worth it or else is not that good of an investment !

Thanks for the advice! I threw together another list, to make better use of my saurus and Oldblood, along with hearing that skinks in groups less than 40 aren't useful:

Saurus Oldblood on Carnosaur (280) - Artefact : Blade of Realities
Saurus Sunblood (120) - Artefact : Prism of Amyntok
Saurus Scar-Veteran on Cold One (100) - Artefact : Incandescent Rectrices
Saurus Scar-Veteran on Carnosaur (240) - War Spear - Artefact : Coronal Shield

3 x Ripperdactyl Riders (140)
5 x Saurus Guard (100)

It fields a solid melee force with the Bloodclaw saurus units, and has good amount of flexibility with chamo skinks + rippers.

Hmmm not sure... It looks a bit .... cluttered. 5 chameleons, 5 Guards, 5 Knights... all those small units probably won't be doing much for the game.

Just a heads up but you only get 1 artefact in a list then 1 more for each battalion you have.

Also shadowstrike with only 1 unit of rippers is a bit of a waste, you either need another unit of them on the board to be able to place the toad in your 1st hero phase or you need to start with them on the table which negates the main power of the unit in that battalion.

I like the look of your first list and if you drop the rippers and put the extra saved points into a larger skink block and a few more razordons.
