I had been trying out different blues that I wanted to use for my skinks, and have finally settle on a scheme. This is the first figure of my army I have painted. Now I have the mixture down, I should be able to rocket through the rest pretty quickly. Let me know what you think!

I really like your color scheme m8. What I'd like to point out is that you're gonna have alot of skinks and to paint them to that level one by one is gonna be a pain. I suggest an easier and faster method (washes)

Actually, the way its painted is a kind of slap dash approach I used to paint historical minis with. This guy didn't take me long at all, it was the metallics that were a bit of a pain.

I think I may tackle a Temple Guard next. I'm hoping to have some nice variation on the shade of the blue, possibly denoting rank, or age of the individual. It will hopefully make the overall army look pretty sweet.

Looks good, and it looks like it probaly lends it self well to speed painting.
