The site is or was getting an update from what Felix said, I think the other one is still being sold and is available.

Oh ok thanks

You're welcome.

Got the Lizardman back from Felix, just need to make some changes to the weapon carrying forearm and then send it back off again.

Re: Next AOW lizardman

Any idea when this might hit the web?

Not got a clue.

It's sitting on my desk right now as I rework the shoulder and arm of the weapon holding hand.

Shouldn't be too much longer though, I've sorted the anatomy out and just need to re-add the scales to the shoulder and sculpt the hand.

After that and when/if Felix approves it then it all depends on the other product releases. I only know about a month in advance of when one of my pieces is going to be released and even then I am not allowed to say anything as part of my contract/agreement.

Once this is finished I have a very large Lizardman related project planned for Krok gar and his carnosaur. Not in green stuff though but in super sculpey firm.

I'll be sticking as close as possible to this artwork, I've already finished the head of the weapon and working on the carnosaur's armature today.

Freaking awesome, can't wait to see what you do with it. I absolutely love your sculpting.

It's an interesting project when you think about it.

The carnosaur given it's fluff and stats is very unique by dino standards. For one it's bite.

It has a very powerful bite so that means the head needs to be quite unique, triangular in shape (like it is in the original Krok gar artwork).
It's not a large target so needs to be short but powerful.

I've been looking around and I think this is the idea type of dinosaur and pose. Obviously though the carnosaur has large arms and paws, possible even for weight bearing, so that again changes the style of the anatomy.

Re: Next AOW lizardman

Dude YES!!!!! Omg I love our lizardmen carnosaur model and judging by your other sculpts I have no doubt in my mind that what you do will be nothing short of awesome!

Re: Next AOW lizardman

I've heard back from Felix,

The model has passed his critique and will be released by AOW.

I do not know when though and beyond confirming it has been approved I can say and know nothing else.

Re: Next AOW lizardman

Awesome news! Well done, mate.

Re: Next AOW lizardman

Oh, gosh I just admire your detailed sculps! Those Kroxigors are just amazing! They're so much better than the original model. I love how masculine and muscular they are, and those heads looks so nice.

No idea, you're asking the wrong person, I may do sculpt work for Felix but that does not mean I am privy to his planned release schedule or that I am given authority to go public with anything I am told.

Best bet is to watch the avatars of war forum, all news, updates and release appear there first before anywhere else.

There is however some concept artwork for a new dragon race he's making, that will be like lizardmen.

Re: Next AOW lizardman

Hey Rikard - the original figure that you sculpted that Felix rejected. Is that ever going to be cast?

No idea, I assumed I'd get it sent back to me.

Re: Next AOW lizardman

Long overdue but here's new bits.

As you can see, working on my own version of Krok gar and developing it as I see fit, don't get me wrong it's not going to be a carbon copy of the artwork but will be very close.

I have the armature for Grymloq but will be changing the look based on work and info from scientists who specialise in dino anatomy.
