Welcome. I suggest you check out the fluff subforum and read everything written by Spawning of Bob. He makes great LM cartoons and he happens to be from Australustria like you.

The modeling/painting forum is filled with inspirational work and forumites not afraid to give useful tips.

And of course the Tactics forum is very helpful with a mighty fine Tactica index maintained by Lustria's handsomest* forumite.
