I think it was mentioned in the comments to the warofsigmar blog. The host answered a few questions there.

    Edit:
Also in case you read TGA: Ben has the GHB 2017 and has an Ama running. He won't answer specific point questions but I asked a general question about Seraphon. So please upvote it if you have an account there.

What are SCE? And if so, then that does suck :C

Ah right, those guys. How good are they when it comes to synergy with the Lizardmen?

Any good combos you know off?

And we can only have an alliance with the SCE?

    Stormcast are great.
IMO from a competitive point of view there is no reason not to take as many as you can because they are SO strong.

From the top of my head:
    - Knight Venator is a flying sniper with huge range and enormous damage potential
    - Gryph Hounds can protect you from deep strikes and they are cheap.
    - Celestant Prime (now only 320 points it seems) can dish out multiple mortal wounds (without even rolling a dice) at 24" and isn't easy to kill.
    - Lord Relictor can do something similar (and more) and is cheaper.
    - Protectors help against shooting if placed in front of our units
    - ....almost everything else by SCE. Just switch over and play their army, no need to play any Seraphon. Yes, they are THAT strong.

Do any of them have good synergy with Seraphon? Who would you pick for 400 points?

The SCE have a lot of units that will complement well our army.

Knight-Venator with his arrow to snipe key miniatures and Retributors for mortal wound output are the first that come to mind

Yes. Much too expensive to play him as an ally. He used to be 660 points or so and now he is 560 or so IIRC.

As for my allies if I had to use SCE:
Celestant Prime as artillery and a pack of Gryph Hounds to protect my rear.
Or maybe two Knight Venators to just kill one hero in the first round.
...so many good options. No synergy needed because SCE are so strong.

Is Lord Relictor still only 80 points? Couldn't you take him and a Celestant prime?

Also are you sure we can't use other order units, like the Celestial Hurricanum? It has such good synergy with us :C

You can still ally with whoever you want from order, the thing is you would lose the seraphon alligaence

Yea but we finally get a fun allegiance ability. If the order one remains the same it would not be worth it. Guess it'll have to become an EOTG

Alligaence abilityes are based on keywords, that is just the way it works so for example if all your units have the key word order that means that you can take that order alliance and benefit from this order alliance artifacts and comand traits

The benefit of allies is that you can take units from other keywords while still mantaining your seraphon alligance ability

So those units will not gain a extra Seraphon Keyword then right?

Ah well, guess I'll just go only Seraphon then. Hopefully our other allegiance abilities are good as well!

allegiance abilities are known now, slann can dispell from the entire map and gets extra range on doubles. In addition we can try to teleport one unit a turn to a location at least 9'' from the enemy. with a d6 a 1 is a failure, 2-5 is go but cant move and 6 is it can tp an move still. That is it IIRC
