I was joking. And I'm not sure. I thought it stayed the same.
I’m not. Wouldn’t the nerfs be written in with the rest of the warscroll changes already? I would be surprised if they made more changes outside of the GHB.anyone nervous?? lol.... nerfs? I hope it is still viable.
There has been slim pickings of decent skinks on eBay haha. Hopefully you have better luck than me.Been very excited about the new summoning
Always been a fan of adding more units mid game (it adds extra levels to tactics and keeps opponents on their toes)
Can’t wait for this to drop. Next job find lots of cheap skinks on eBay![]()
Judging by the wording of the conjuration ability they have shown us in the faction focus it looks like you don't necessarily need a Slann for summining, but it makes sense.I think the Slann will be the main summoner in out armies and as of now, perhaps The only summoner. I not shure if I like the notion that we cant use our new cool faction-power if we don't take one specific leader. But I guess the "must take cost" in points evens out considering we get to summon in more stuff for no point cost.
Does anyone have the full summon list?

As I understand the rulings the Slann should be able to conjure 9 points everything turn considering he can cast 3 spells in the hero phase. With the banner, that should make for a wholly different viabillity when it comes to summoning. If this is the case, I really like the aspect of beeing able to maybe summon something beastly on turn 2-3 but sacrificing spells, wich seems amazing in this edition.Judging by the wording of the conjuration ability they have shown us in the faction focus it looks like you don't necessarily need a Slann for summining, but it makes sense.
Because even with perfect rolls by the Astrolith Bearer you will only generate 15 points in a whole 5 round game (three per round) and the average will be 10 points.

There might be a better way to round out this list, but off the top of my head this would be a "reasonable" max summoning list. I put reasonable in quotes, because you could play with 4 EoTGs, but then you lose the Starseer for rerolls and Curse of Fates, which both help you maximize your Celestial points and EoTG's chances of summoning. We did some quick math and with Curse of Fates, the Slann nearby, and some rerolls, you are looking at a 60-70ish % chance of the EoTG summoning. So roughly 2 of the 3 will pop off every turn. I threw in Handlers because I see myself summoning 3-4 Sallies in a turn and I don't want to summon them. BURN BABY!
