Ok, please forgive me if I want to show off a bit first, but I recently had a game, where the only thing standing between the flank of my temple guard, who were engaged with lots of black orks, and an angry, rampaging giant, was a small unit of 10 skinks with blow pipes.:eek: Having already used stand and shoot against a pump wagon, which was promptly destroyed, the giant could freely charge into my lovely, squishy skinks.:( I was pretty much ready to take them off the table before combat had even started. I got lucky on the first turn (he rolled yell and bawl), but then next turn came around, I hit first. I promptly rolled 7 hits, six of them being sixes, and the giant keeled over without a single casualty! An amazing victory! (The victory dance lasted at least 10 minutes) Luckily they haven't been painted yet, and I play this guy often, so I'd like to paint them real awesome looking, so he will never forget his embarrassment again. Any ideas for how to paint epic, giant slaying skinks? Thanks.:)
 
hmmm... maybe they took some cloth trophies from the giants ...errrr loin cloth?
 
The New York Giants have a red white and blue logo colour which wouldn't look bad as crest, skin and scales.

They could be your "Nuked Your Giants" for evermore.
 
I think the frog looks cool, and a nice irony! Maybe that coloured body, with a red, white and blue crest. Do you think any little props would look nice?
 
Maybe a custom banner of tiny little figures dancing on a very large figure's fallen body, maybe see if your friend has some bits and bobs from the giant sprue you could have. Maybe your champion hoisting a beer mug far too big for him! Tough call on that one!

I like the banner idea! And the idea with the giants head... Combined it would make a banner with a giant skull on top... And maybe some bigger bones or the giant's weapon included ...
 
If your unit has a hero... you can also made a weapon made with a bone of a giant, and a shield made with a skull of a giant!!!
Or you can put a giant's skull on a banner...

Your friend might have an alternative giant head from the kit (don't know if it has one) Use the head as the base for your unit champ.

Have one pig your guys dragging a really large sack behind him. Make this with a circle of masking tape. Put a marble or a ball of tape in the centre, fold the circle around and scrunch it together to form the neck of the bag which you tie with rope (string). Your guy holds the rope ends. It will have a lot of fabric like folds which will look good with some dark washes over your base colour.

I just made that up. No idea if it will work. Too lazy to stand up and try a prototype.

The giants use To carry a lot of stuf from previos figths as, shields, treasures and beer it would be very funny that your skinks loot at the giant corpse and now they carry a barrel of beer, To celebrate the victory! The dwarfs have some beer mugs bits that you could put on the hands that hold the amunition of the blowpipes xD.
 
I know the giant kit comes with 4 different heads, so ask your friend if you can have one of the spares if you go with my suggestion.
