8th Ed. Glittering Robe in the Lore of Metal

Does glittering robe stack with the armor saves of skrox and temple guard?

No it dosen't give benefits to any creature that already has a scaly skin of 5+ or better.
Yet another reasone LoMetal is lame for lizardmen armies, with the scaly skin USR being so common among our forces.

I am facing brettonia today. I am going to take that lore to try it out. I am using a primarily skrox army with temple guard protecting my slann. The TG will just not see the buff. The kroxigors are out of luck too. But the skinks will benefit. That should give the skinks a 4+ (5+ plus 1 for shield). So, that should work out ok.

Lore of Metal eats Bretonnia for breakfast when it works, Warrs of Chaos too. Final Transmutation and the Gehenna's hounds make me happy.

Used it today against Brettonia. The first 3 magic phases (for both sides) niether of us got more than 5 or 6 dice in the magic phase. It was horrible! I did not have a good magic phse the entire game. No chaneling either (1 or 2per side).
