I have always played Warhammer 40,000 for as long as i can remember. (6 years i think) and am excited to have finally started warhammer fantasy a few months ago. I began with dwarfs because i liked the way they negated nearly all enemy magic. Also, they have some of the most powerful handguns and war machines in the game!.
However, I recently started lizardmen and so far i am quite impressed. After all who can argue with the T4 S4 2A core saurus warriors, the M6 poisoned shooting attacks skirmishing skinks, the fiersome S7 D3 wounds carnisaur, and lets not forget the all powerful slann that devastates the enemy during each magic phase.
My army will eventually contain:
slann
20 temple guard
scar-veteran
40 saurus warriors
skink priest
10 skink skirmishers
30 skinks
3 kroxigors
old blood on carnisaur
20 cold ones
1-3 stegadon
and a couple of hunting packs
As for painting, i am satisfied with the basic dark blue color scheme for the lizards. I want to have a jungle\temple theme for my bases. This will be a major project that will take several months to complete. I hope to record my progress so others can input ideas along the way.
