I'm a 24 year old guy who has been playin' the hobby since 6th just came out. I have kept playing 6th 'til about a month after 8th came out. I didn't really feel like saying farewell to my mixed chaos army ^-^ but at that point I did switch to vampire counts. Had a lot of fun with it and my 2k pts army is resting on the shelf now but now that LM was updated I could not resist going back to my old 6th LM army. They were after all my 2nd favourite after my Slaanesh army, so here I am playing LM again My biggest atm is that I am not too familiar with the metagame of 8th and I would like to really get into it again!

My LM collection isn't all that big. It consists of the following:

1 Tetto'ekko
1 Skink Chief
1 Skink Priest
20 Saurus Warr /w spears
10 TG
12 Skinks /w blowpipes
1 Stegadon /w ballista
3 Krox
8 Cold One Riders

Well, enough about that!

In my personal life I am studying Mechanical Engineering. My other hobbies are Dungeons & Dragons, PC and console gaming and rarely playing with my old Magic: the Gathering decks against some buddies that don't really collect anymore either.

I'm sure I'll get the necessary info here and hope to get along with you guys (and the occasional gal, perhaps) well!

You got a good start on models, you can run a fairly balanced army with that if you just bulk up your Core and get another 10 or so Temple Guard.

For a good way to get your feet wet on the metagame in the new book, you should give the Tactica index a browse. It's linked in my signature.

For some good Lizardmen humor, go to the fluff subforum and check out all the Spawning of Bob pieces.

The painting forum is also filled with great stuff.
