Currently Ogres prefer to use Ironfists to fulfil the same purpose as shields, but that wouldn’t stop GW from doing something new with them, especially as this one looks so Ogre-ish...

Yeah, that is true. Might be kind of awesome to have some kind of elite ogre bodyguard unit with heavy armor, big shields, and massive clubs or something.

Don't you mean Gnoblars (given that an Ogre is with them in the warband)? ;)

Quite true! Distant cousins at best... but they would work great as conversions I think too.

Agreed. I want to get the Ogre Blood Bowl team, just for the Gnobilars. I want to add them to my 40K Grot Tank army. :)

I bet you could convert the Ogors to have tank cannons on their backs and BE the tanks for the gnoblar drivers/gunners.

Looks like GW will be previewing High Elves 2.0 on Friday at the Las Vegas Open:
    https://www.warhammer-community.com/2020/01/20/dont-miss-the-las-vegas-opengw-homepage-post-4/

Looking forward to seeing what Teclis' successful creations look like!

Also, this week GW are going to finally release those Warcry monsters they've been showing us for a while, alongside the Spire Tyrants:

If you liked the aesthetic of the classic Chaos Marauders, these chaps will be your cup of tea.

They're also releasing some warband cards for more factions - Beastmen, Tzeentch Daemons, Kharadron, Ogres, Ossiarch, Skaven, Warriors of Chaos, Sigmarine Warrior Chamber and Tzeentch Mortals:

Still no sign of Fyreslayers in there, which is especially perplexing given that they've given Tzeentch two different packs and Tzeentch doesn't have that big a roster, but Kharadron are in there now so that's a plus. There are still several factions remaining without warband cards - I can think of Fyreslayers, Sylvaneth, Cities of Sigmar, Seraphon, Blades of Khorne, Maggotkin of Nurgle and Hedonites of Slaanesh off the top of my head - so maybe they'll get their sets of cards in a third wave.

A new terrain set that packages two of the new woods kits with some ruined Sigmarite structures:

And the Palanite Subjugators and Corpse Grinders from the recent Necromunda starter set are now going to be released separately:

I didn't see any marks or keywords pertaining to marks.... But perhaps the BT has something more about it.

Would be a shame if they're lacking. Cuz I'd love to stick it in a tzeentch army as a potential hero that can actually do something in melee. Much like someo f the other StD heroes can be used.

I really should continue my skitarii army already... I'm building far too many armies at the same time.
