Certainly probable given he is resin, and he is one of the only two models to have such large feathers, alongside the Starpriest (who is already in plastic).

Which all have considerably longer jaws given the size of their head. Long-jawed Saurus win, debate over

You mean the crocodiles and such?
Sure they have comperativly long jaws, but their bite is also their only weapon. You're not going to see a crocodile or hippo punch/claw at an prey. They just bite down and that's about it. To utilize their massive jaws they basically sacrifice everything else, with short stompy legs and a low center of gravity for stability and balance while biting.

Bears, gorillas and felines however use both their jaws and their limbs for combat, and can actually get upright to fight. Which seems a bit closer to how saurus fight, even when unarmed.

Anyways, I'm fine with either design. As far as I can find a shorter snout fits a bit better with upright bipedal creatures, probably has to do with keeping balance I guess. I assume that's why they went with this for the newer models.

I don't like it. Too much AOS esthetic. I like the rest of it

I mean, the orb was part of the original banner. Just fill the gaps with green stuff.

yea but that wasn't a blatantly hovering orb of energy. It could be painted up as a gem stone, metal etc.

Way back in 5th edition, I attempted to translate the glyphs on one of the 5th edition kroxigors' axes. Closest I got was "Shemp" as in the Shemp of the Three Stooges.

I think I can understand where you're coming from. Personally, the astrolith looks "unfinished" not being a complete ring of glyphs. But, I don't mind the hovering orb with energy. I think you could still paint it as a gemstone, metal, etc. Who knows, there might be options for Astrolith (but I doubt that)?

While I generally like the updated models we've seen, I'm sad to see some aesthetics disappear. I miss more touches of the prehistoric "pseudo-Aztec" style in favor of the magic-tech. But I can think of reason why GW might want to move on from that.

That would be pretty sweet. Even still, I think it would look great with the energy orb removed (for those that don't like it).

The difference between living in the jungle (Lizardmen) or a space ship (Seraphon). I think the shift reflects that.

And yet the models will sell none the less. No matter how many times GW raise their prices, people rush out to buy it. We're addicted. Plastic crack.

Indeed! However, so long as a significant percentage of the player base fail in that regard, GW will continue to increase their prices.

I love how they blamed the price hike on inflation when their price increases over the last decade has outraced the rate of inflation many times over.

its funny because we see their quarterly reports.

They made a healthy profit. They continue to make a healthy profit. And yet they raise rates regardless.

This is just becoming a yearly event at this point isn't it... bit ridiculous to increase your prizes this often, I don't think I know any other hobby that sees prizes hikes this frequently.
