    Anvil of Apotheosis looks to be far expanded this new edition, with every race being given an AoA section on their battletomes, and this makes me... *Squee*

    I've said in the past that the lack of any true support for custom heroes was a disappointment. I don't like using canonical characters, because it feels really stupid when the likes of Archaon, bringer of Doom, ender of worlds... Gets shivved by a skaven slave because the dice god wanted to have a laugh. AoA was always a missed opportunity, now let's see how it goes being in core rules.

    Now... Now I'm especially annoyed at how long it'll take for us to get our next battletome.

    That's half the fun. Pointing and laughing when the idiot slaverats get blown up by the room rocket that they were trying to get ready for launch. Skaven strategy is not going according to plan if they aren't nuking two thirds of their own chaff.

    I like to picture that Clan Skrye all adopt Command and Conquer Red Alert 2 cheesy Russian accents the moment that they have a spare doom rocket ready to launch.
