GW News: LAS VEGAS OPEN 2025

As an Iron Hands player, that would be SO SO AWESOME for Ferrus Manus to be the new leader of the Legion of the Damned!

That would be interesting... would it be Ferrus Manus's's's soul reborn from the dead or would it be one of his clones recently escaped from his crib at Fabius Bile's place? I am an Iron Hands fan myself, never made any, but they are my favorite of the original legions.

The Flesh Is Weak, brother! :D

And I'm not sure, but it'd be more fitting if it was his soul reborn from the dead.

The rumor about Ferrus Manus leading the LOTD origintates from the book, Master of Mankind. Basically, The Emperor is fighting deamons that are coming out of his own web Way. Big E manifeasts a psychic firestorm, and within this firestorm can be seen images of marines that fought and died for the Emperor, and the book specifies a large marine with 'arms of molten silver'.

This also incorporates in the theory that the LOTD are really deamons of the Emperor.

Well, once again stuff happened. But I'm not complaining, I was accepted in UNAM afterall. ;)

I will have to move now, but keep studying is still my priority.

I promise to make make resumes for each week eventually, but before the year ends.

Very unrelated question, but what do Mexican people think of president Doritto further up north?

I promise I will not get too political. [10 shots later]

As a country: we left ourselves drag with all the doomsaying. Many abused it to damn humanity, make cheap bussiness, and to not think a bit for a second. México is still quite a stupid country, and sensationalism and mediocrity reings rampant over here.

As an individual: I lol'd.

Half of his camping was impossible promises, other half plainly bad moves. Look, for almost the rest of the world, USA is a weekly South Park episode. Nowadays is a South Park marathon that will last 4 years.

Tomorrow I will finally join the UNAM students. All that wait is finally over... and I have work to do:

Wait… what? This doesn’t look like a miniature…

Indeed, it is an artwork that we've seen recently...

Are you looking to start a new Kharadron army? Do you want to understand how this new army works? Don't worry, there is a small article about what are they all about: https://www.warhammer-community.com...-kharadron-overlords-apr26gw-homepage-post-3/

White Dwarf turned 40 (not K) years... woah, is it that old? (greetings to my dear veteran fellas :D), which better way to congratulate it if not with a new commemorative Grombrindal on Power Armour, and soon him playing Blood Bowl versus the Black Gobbo!: https://www.warhammer-community.com/2017/04/27/white-dwarf-turns-40/

An Elf on an Elk and how to paint them: https://www.warhammer-community.com/2017/04/27/thranduil-spotlight/

Dawn of War III is out now! I haven't played it yet, but I'd really like to try it: https://www.warhammer-community.com/2017/04/27/dawn-of-war-iii-out-now/

A new dwarf chariot is ramming on FW: https://www.warhammer-community.com/2017/04/27/iron-hills-chariot-coming-soon-to-middle-earth/

Yet another new FW Contemptor Dreadnought; the Osiron Pattern for the Thousand Sons: https://www.warhammer-community.com/2017/04/28/the-osiron-pattern-contemptor-dreadnought/

The largest ship on the Kharadron range arrived alongside the Aetheric Navigators and Brokk Grungsson, maybe the richest Dwarf that ever touched the skies: https://www.warhammer-community.com...he-sky-fleets-and-the-lord-magnate-barak-nar/

And while the Mortal Realms watched those huge ships arrive, the grim and dark future of the 41st Millennium also watched something on a similar scale: an expansion on their industrial building with New Sector Mechanicus kits: https://www.warhammer-community.com/2017/04/29/new-sector-mechanicus/

The new piece of scenery here are the Galvanic Servohaulers, and I do love their looks:

Also there is a new set of thematic bases for miniatures, matching with Sector Mechanicus terrain. Those also look pretty sweet, and they come with plenty of base sizes for many different models.

Well, that was April covered. Slowly but safely, I will put on day this thread.

I'll see you sooner!

I'm back, and that deserves an... unpdate to be more up to date.

A new 40K video for a new Edition: https://www.warhammer-community.com...0-watch-the-new-teaser-nowgw-homepage-post-1/

Horus Heresy at Warhammer Fest, with a preview on a heavy Custodes Dreadnought and two Primarchs; Leman Russ and Magnus the Red: https://www.warhammer-community.com/2017/05/01/the-horus-heresy-at-warhammer-fest/

A second showcase on NEO miniatures. This time you can see a hell of a showcase with Dark Eldar/Dark Elves kit-bashing : https://www.warhammer-community.com/2017/05/02/neo-army-showcase-part-2/

Rumour Engine – May 3rd, 2017: https://www.warhammer-community.com/2017/05/03/rumour-engine-may-3rd-2017/

I'd thought this is something from the AdMech on 40K, but it was actually quite the complete opposite... And we saw them recently.

And a third NEO showcase
, this time with some despicable, filthy, disgusting skaven. I mean look at them, they weren't even painted properly, look at those thic layers! But fortunely, there is something to actually contemplate with an interesing Lizardmen/Seraphon army. There is just so much class and care put on them: https://www.warhammer-community.com/2017/05/03/neo-army-showcase-part-3/

Now that these NEO articles have been putted together, we can see the scenario where they will fight each other: https://www.warhammer-community.com/2017/05/03/neo-warhammer-live-scenario/

You know what would be pretty cool? one-hero rules for Shadow War: Armageddon: https://www.warhammer-community.com/2017/05/03/shadow-war-armageddon-one-man-armies/

THE HERO, THE LEGEND, ONE OF THE FEW NON-ENHANCED HUMANS WHO WORTH A DAMN ON THE FAR FUTURE, now with 7E updated rules:: https://www.warhammer-community.com/2017/05/04/sly-marbo-rules-for-warhammer-40000/

Another Tactical Toolbox, this time talking about zoning and area denial. As always, this analysis are excellent and worth to read: https://www.warhammer-community.com/2017/05/04/tactical-toolbox-zoning-and-area-denial/

There is never enough FW releases for each Legion, and that's why got yet another couple of Thousand Sons units: https://www.warhammer-community.com/2017/05/05/the-elite-of-the-xv-legion/

Another Shadow War: Armageddon FAQ: https://www.warhammer-community.com/2017/05/05/shadow-war-armageddon-your-questions-answered/

And, finally, the last Kharadron deployment... for now? interesting title: https://www.warhammer-community.com/2017/05/06/the-last-of-the-kharadron-for-now/

And so, my catch-up journey continues...

The new generals handbook has been revealed.

197867-AoSGenHanbook2017Cover.jpg

For open play, the multiplayer rules have been massively expanded, and now include Triumph & Treachery – devious rules for mid-game betrayals.

Narrative players are about to get really spoilt. With Path to Glory soon to become its own stand-alone expansion, this section has been freed up for a huge amount of new content in the 2017 edition. Highlights include rules for siege warfare in the Mortal Realms and Time of War battlefield rules for locations in every realm (even the one’s we haven’t been to yet!).

Matched play is set to get plenty of updates too. These include new Battleplans, new rules of one, and updated points for units in every faction in the Mortal Realms.

Perhaps most excitingly of all are the new Allegiance Abilities. These are much expanded from those four Grand Alliance army-traits from the previous General’s Handbook. The new book will cover Allegiance Abilities for the likes of Fyreslayers, Seraphon,Slaanesh,Nighthaunts and over a dozen others.

Mmmm tasty new allegiance abilities.

Let's see if they implement characters not being able to be shot at unless they're the closest model or above 10 wounds....

Oh man that sounds almost too good to be true.
I read
and updated points for units in every faction in the Mortal Realms.
and my mind translates to: "SCE, Ironjawz, and FEC become cheaper while Seraphon and Death stuff gets more expensive"

EDIT: I also read: "Like in Skirmish half of Seraphon stuff doesn't get points anymore so screw you, Lizards!"

Do you know if that hand book will contain the previous handbook´s contents or simply add to it? What I mean is that if new players will need to get both handbooks  :joyful:

It´s a completely new "rule" book. Once the new generals handbook arrives, the previous one will be rendered useless. GW products only use the newest rules.

At least not one book for each army so meh, I don't really care. Actually I think that it will be worth it, yearly releases keep the game alive (and maybe even balanced one day...)

And now it seems they are to be released yearly.
That's a good thing, new models are always coming out so it makes perfect sense to have a yearly book.
Perhaps. It's a fine balance between having a stagnant rule set and one that is unstable and constantly in flux. Opinions will vary and to be perfectly honest I'm not even sure how I would feel about it.

I think that the yearly updated rule book is a good thing, but I think it´s even better how they´re tackling it with 40k. Have all the points values on the last page of the indexes (or codex when they come out) so when the "chapter approved" comes out each year to balance the game better you just have to change one page.
