GW News: LAS VEGAS OPEN 2025

The models look fairly standard (except the hound which is cool) but the bases are really nice. Like with all the other Shadespire models.

Au contraire.
There are published books and people play with that common ground .

To pretend it doesn't exist, is like to say that risiko doesn't exist because i don't like and i don't play it.
No, no, no, no... we finally got back on topic.

A few misguided souls, not enough to affect my reality! In a similar vein as the flat earthers... they have their own "lore" but that does change the reality of the universe. Now look what you have made me do. AoS will forever be marked as the "flat earth" of wargames for me. ;)

The stormcast look carbon copy forgettable.

I'll probably be painting them for my client soon.

The khorne dudes all have the same load out.yawn

I agree... nothing interesting here, especially in contrast to the awesome new Daughters of Khaine and Deepkin models.

The only flat earth i recognize, stands upon the back of four elephants, placed on top of a giant turtle.

...which recalls me a certain model of idoneth deepkin, but it's a dangerous comparison ;)

More like:

AoS?.... This is Sparta!!!

Or rather, THIS IS FANTASY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Pits will fill up eventually
True, but it did look like a rather deep and wide pit.

Look at Star Wars - they had two never ending pits. Nightbringer could use one of those.

Anyway, about the Idoneth Deepkin, I found an interesting part of their lore that made them different to the Dark Eldar, which many have been comparing them to. Like them the Deepkin need to steal the souls of others to survive, but where the Dark Eldar relish stealing others’ souls, the Deepkin see it as just something they have to do - they don’t like doing it but they have to do it to survive, which is an interesting twist.

Agreed here. Probably GW's most boring load out since the Eschers became one of the gangs in the Necromunda boxed game. That was pretty awful in itself.

Forge World have also had boring load outs of late - what do they produce? Yet more stuff for the Horus Heresy and heroes for Lake Town of all things.

Looks like the eel cavalry comes in 3's? From all the pictures that I've seen, they are always in a unit of 3.

That would make sense, seeing that they are Monstrous Cavalry size.

Really? They look normal cav sized

If they are monstrous cav sized that makes my life a hell of a lot easier
