GW News: LAS VEGAS OPEN 2025

Enjoy one of the ugliest miniature i ever recall… :wtf:

Which part of him do you find ugly then?

I think the idea of him in the walking chair as nobility is a nice idea and his face is one of the better ones, but it looks odd that he’s got clothes on his top half yet none on his bottom half, as if he had just got out of the bath, forgot to wrap a towel around himself and put his Nagash hat and cloak on to answer the door before he puts his pyjamas on.

But then at least he hasn’t got a face in his crotch region...

Those legs just look out of place. The rest is fine. But those legs are just so weird

I cannot stand the legs of the walking throne, and i don't like the three mini tails... it's a ridiculous detail that imo diminishes the "aura of nobility"(?) that the model is supposed to have.
Not counting the fact that the pose of the hero seems a poor man's version of the much nobler Slann.

There is some nice detail but all in all for me it's a big no.

That to, the only others on a similar palaquin are the Slann & starseer. With the legs is just looks like some hedgewizard who couldn't quite figure out levitation but wanted to look cool like a proper wizard.

It's just a very weird model.

The legs on the palaquin makes me think of Wallace and Gromit.

Newer models are not always better models!

He kinda looks like the Adeptus Mechanicus small walker?

…except squatter and more pudgy.

Would have looked better if he was floating. That would be a really simple conversion to make, that way he would be mockery of the slann (even if it is a poor mockery).

The legs on the palaquin makes me think of Wallace and Gromit.

i think the guy himself is really cool how he is binding a spirit to whatever is in his hand. the chair is eh but i think he is going to be a builder like the old necrotechs and thats awesome

That is a great analogy! :hilarious::hilarious::hilarious:
While i do like making jokes and funny comments about the ossiarchs, i still do like most of their minis including the walking chair. Maybe if he had four legs he would look a little better. The only things in the new model line i don't really like is the new basic infantry and the big harvester monster, those just don't look that facinating.

Same here, for me it is especially the infantry though.

Yeah, the guy by itself is not bad and the spirit thing is cool. The chair ruins it all beyond salvation.
