GW News: LAS VEGAS OPEN 2025

Wow, I bet Ogre Kingdoms players are pissed that another faction has stolen their Ogre standard bearer with Lookout Gnoblar models and upgraded them (or pleased, if they want to kitbash it into a proper Ogre version).

Not my cup of tea in any case.

what’s the opposite to a nay-sayer?

A yes-man perhaps, but a yes-man says 'yes' without thinking or showing a backbone, which doesn't apply to a nay-sayer per se, or the true opposite to a nay-sayer.

If you genuinely like the model then it's fine to say so, indeed it shows that you have the backbone to not be afraid to disagree with us, which is certainly not yes-man behaviour.

I do like the model, I guess I’m more an optimist than a certain bringer of the night when it comes to new releases

I like the old school look armour -wise but model doesn't really cut it for me.
I just hope we don't see a plethora of guys mounted on ogre backs like they did with the undead with graves on their backs. One was cool but dozens was ridiculous,

indeed.
One of them would be cool as "leader" but as you said, too many is too many.

I, for one, welcome the new Cities of Sigmar humies... as kitbashing material for my Skaven-themed Imperial Guard army!!!

I certainly look forward to seeing what you do with them! I'd also suggest the Necromunda Cawdor Gangers for this purpose, as the new plastic ones instantly gave me a 'human skaven' feel. Plus, Bomb Rats!

Amusingly you can just use Stormvermin as the base models and source the arms from elsewhere.

Why yes, but you need to realize that my Skaviir Dominion army is officially old enough to run for public office. That was my first warhammer army, started in 1993. I've got parts from the original Necromunda plastics and most of the 5th edition fantasy and 40K sprues in that army. :D

Or you could do what I do, and mix them with, say, Tempestus Scions? :D :D :D
