Hello from a newbie

I have never played Warhammer or 40K but I'm into scale modelling and have built a couple of 40K vehicles.
I like dinosaurs and like pre-Hispanic cultures (I'm from Mexico) so I felt in love with the Lizardmen concept and have decided to give the game a try.
This forum has come up several times that I have googled for paint schemes and characters so I guess it's the place to be.
I'm about to paint some skins and I'm a little nervous because I have never painted something mmm... organic. I'm not going with the official blue but something green stripped instead. Wish me luck!

Hello and welcome to Lustria! If you have any questions and cannot find the answers in the appropriate threads, just ask. I am looking forward to any contributions to the site you may add. We have lots of talented and knowledgeable members here and glad that you came aboard.

And indeed, you are correct that this is one of the main fan forum sites for Lizardmen. There was another a while ago, called The Pyramid Vault, though through some unfortunate set of circumstances was sadly closed down. However, a few members ported some/several bits of the information from The Vault over to here IIRC making L-O a one-stop "shop" for all-things Warhammer Lizardmen.
