Hey there!

I have been playing Warhammer Fantasy for roughly 15 years, but I used to be a High Elf player most of the time (as well as having a Vampire Counts army to the side) but now with the new edition I wanted to give the Lizardmen a try. So far I have only gotten the book and the Carnosaur model (because it's awesome IMHO) so my army will probably grow rather slowly while I try to find out what else to get.

I will probably spend most of mine time on this board just reading as much as I can to get a good idea of people's opinions on certain units.

Welcome. I too have a small vampire counts army on the side. With zombie Skinks (see avatar). I thought about collecting High Elves but my two most frequent WH opponents have High Elves so I just play them for army swaps.

We have very talented painters and sculptors here on the modeling forum and we have a great Tactics forum.
