Hello!

I'm new here, I came just to touch the wallpaper but got engrossed by the lizards.

I've just ordered the starter set of 'seraphon' (lizardmen!) for painting purposes mostly, and came looking for inspiration. I found it was in no short supply, but also that anything I do will be rubbish in comparison.

I am a very old ex warhammer player, so happy to be back and hoping to find the time to paint some lizards.

Ask me questions if you like, the answers might not be very entertaining.

Welcome aboard, I too am a old returning painter although it has been 12 months since my return feels like years tbh.

Post some pics up in the painting section, good or bad we want to see your models and we will try to help you along with ideas and inspiration.

And I never played but now we play KOW and AOS and it adds a bit of depth to your painting, instead of the models being stuck in a drawer or cabinet they now get enjoyed by my son and his friends, having a bunch of people screaming "woaw" at your gaming table is very inspiring ;)
 
I will certainly try to get some WIPs up once I've got my models! Spare time is pretty limited at the moment, but I'm hoping being on here will spur me on a bit.

In terms of playing I prefer Warhammer Quest style stuff really, so looking forward to the new version of that being released too.
 
Yeah I've seen that before, I particularly like the 'set dressing' stuff you get like the tables doors and bookshelves. Looks like good value for money too!
 
You're lucky mine grows at a rate of knots and it drains my soul but don't let my fiancé hear that she doesn't tolerate me moaning about it :P
