Cool idea on the Saurus, and as for the Skinks, I would say the first one ;) The yellow head looks awesome

you would have had the sarus bt the only one i manage to paint before running out of primer decides to swan dive into my red paint palette
 
I agree with the first one, however, you have picked some very complicated schemes there, will be a lot of work! Good luck with it, I will be very keen to see a few test models. :)
