Hello to all. I am wondering if anyone has built a skink chief on a Horned One? I am putting one in a club challenge. I normally would never do this but he is a cheap heavy hitter who wont go away too easy the way I built him. Now I need to create a model to represent him. Anyone have any ideas or has someone built one or seen one. Anyways let me know. Thanks :D
 
Beat me to it. Tichi Huichi's riders would be the easiest way to go. Our current cold ones are too fat for a skink, but some of the raptor looking OOP ones would also work well.
 
Yeah I already of thought of that for I own 20 of those guys. I just don't like the riders. They don't look furosiuos enough to be a skink chief.. Maybe I can hack him in half and add the body of a skink model to him.
 
Yeah just use the legs, or even use a standard skink and bend his legs out. The main part you need is the cold one since it is skinny enough to fit a skink easily.
 
Checking my own cold one riders, I think you could pretty easily use the dark elf cold ones to convert a horned one. I held a skink next to it for comparison, but it looks like it'd be a pretty good fit. It might require some repositioning of limbs, but I don't think turning a skink skirmisher into a horned one rider would be too much effort if you use the dark elf ones.
 
You don't have to have the skink exactly riding the Horned One, you could have him atop it, like with the new Terradon Riders. Much like riding side saddle. I don't exactly how it would turn out, but it could possible work.
