Hmm...I just read something which made me think..
Lizardmen Armybook page 93 (heroes). It states that a scar-veteran can take:
Magic items: any, up to a total of 50 points.
So he could drag along a dispell scroll? power stone? staff or sorcery?
Now I hear you think:
"a non wizard cannot carry arcane items"
Yes he can!
lex specialis derogat legi generali
the special rule (from the AB), enfeeble(??) the general rule.
Which in turn means: Scar vets can carry dispell scrolls!
Guess I missed something huh?
yes, I'm a law student :)

No, he cannot carry dispel scrolls. That would be like saying he can use the stegadon war-spear because it said he could take any item. It's as if every arcane item has invisible text that says "wizards only".

And, regardless, this:

is not a special rule, as it is in the army list section, not the bestiary. Therefore it could not overrule the rules. :D

I agree with Eternity_Warden.

No point in writing anything else, he hit that nail on the head...

:D

Ok, so I DIDmiss something :P...
I thought it had some more ground, but unfortunately; I didn't read/know it all :)
Thanks guys!
