If GW offered you a FREE new army, which army would you choose?

    Huh. I actually haven't bothered to look over the LOTR minis in a long time. Kind of like the idea of using the Lake-Men as Russians...

    If I could get a free army currently it would be Idoneth Deepkin. Aside from Lizardmen/Seraphon, they're my favorite faction due to the awesome aquatic aesthetic.

    They are definitely quite unique compared to all the other armies.

    Okay, yeah, looked that over, so not doing that. $65 for 12 finecast minis? No. Not going to happen.

    That’s fair, GW do have some ridiculous prices for some of the later Hobbit minis.

    However, that doesn’t rule out the Warriors of Dale, who are plastic. It’s only the Lake Town Guard who are finecast.

    Okay, I missed those. That isn't too bad, price-wise. But I suspect if I do a Russian-themed fantasy army, I might just go through Fireforge Games for their Medieval Russians...
