ok.. ill have to use slightly different colours, i only have simple red, blue etc also do you know any ways to thicken paint, my silver is like water!
Stir it up with a toothpick or something, metallic paint tends to settle and separate after a while, so all the thick parts of the paint are probably suck to the bottom of the jar.
Ive tried what Crowsfoot said. say if i made a mistake or misunderstood. i only tried the layered dry brushing so far again sorry about the bad pic
Very nice color scheme! i might copy your idea for the orange scales on the sauri to make contrast with my green scaled skinks If you want to give it more impact you should try using the drybrush with a little less colour on the brush it may need more passes taking more time but will leave more red in the crevices this will make the colours pop out even more
thanks, Crowsfoot gave me an idea of how to get it like that i followed his instructions and it turned out well!!
Heres my temple guard again.. i think ill paint them all like this one but before i do. any improvements/ suggestions?
I use this model as Gor-rok. Its a kroxigor with a shield really but i decided to paint it differently... I dont know if the shield is a bit too colourful.. but here it is so far. I still need to finish it.
The kroxigor is an attempt at washing/ dry brushing. i dont know if you can see it very well but please say if i did it wrong
Looks like some pipes ending in statue like lizard heads, you could probably construct/sculpt something similar from cheap dollarstore dinosaur heads, or have fun with it and just make some flame throwers. Give a good paint job and should be good to go.
I suppose if you want to get really cheeky with it, build a sling shot for the howdah and mod a skaven so it looks like it is on fire, then you're shooting flaming skaven at the enemy, and sling shots are easy to make. You could even make it a working model that actually flings the model. (Eye protection recommended.)
